The marvelous thing about God is that the deeper the tragedy, the greater the grace. Dawn Smith Jordan is no stranger to both.
The purpose of Jordan Ministries, Inc. is to lift up the name of Jesus Christ through the mediums of music and speaking with God's Truth being the focal point.

The month of August is proving to be a busy one for Dawn once again. With ministry opportunities in Sumter, South Carolina, as well as several concerts in Texas in the Houston area, and the Beautiful Feet Women's Conference in Jackson, Tennessee, she is looking forward, once again, to being a part of what God wants to accomplish. If you are going to be in the area, why not join her? You can view her full concert schedule by clicking on the words in the right hand margin.
The summer has given Dawn a number of wonderful opportunities to share some fresh words from Psalm 40 that God has laid on her heart in recent days. She has entitled this time of sharing "Out of the Mire and Into the Choir." They are words of encouragement and hope for the future as Dawn has a renewed sense of urgency to stop wallowing in the hurts of the past and to look to her Lord and Savior and the adventures and joys He has for her today and in the future. To learn more you can click on the ministry tab and read a more detailed summary.
Dawn would appreciate your prayers as she gears up for this busy fall. There is always a sense of excitement in the air as this season approaches. The air is crisp and fresh and the sky seems bluer than usual. In this season when our farmers bring in their crops and enjoy the fruit of their labor, all of us at Jordan Ministries pray that God would use Dawn's music and ministry to plant seeds of truth. We also pray that He would receive all the glory and bring forth His desired fruit in the hearts and lives of those that Dawn is privileged to serve. Thank-you for being a huge part of this labor through your prayers and support.
Dawn Smith Jordan's new book, "Thus Far...A Book About Life, Love, Loss and the Lessons Learned Along the Way", a follow-up to her first book, "Grace So Amazing", was released in April of 2007. This much-requested book is a must-read for those who read her first, which focused on the tragic kidnapping and murder of her younger sister in 1985. The focus of the new book is the journey since that time, and as a songwriter, Dawn has told the stories behind many of the songs that have become favorites to those who have attended her concerts and purchased her CD's over the years. Some of the chapter titles include "Sister," "How Far," "A Mother's Prayer," "Ride the Wind," and many more.

A live 45-minute performance by Dawn, in which she shares her story through both spoken word and song. Includes the songs How Far, Sister and Amazing Grace.
